Article Template & Submission Checklist

We recommend that you carefully check the JAMSTE Journal Article Upload Checklist below before uploading your article to ensure a smooth review process.

JAMSTE Journal Article Submission Checklist

General Control

  • Scope: Does your article comply with the publication scope of JAMSTE (Science, Mathematics, and Technology Education)?

  • Originality: Is your article an original study? Has it not been published elsewhere before?

  • Ethics: Does your article comply with ethical rules? (Does it not contain plagiarism, forgery, or undisclosed AI usage?)

  • Language: Is your article clear and understandable in terms of language and expression?

  • Template: Has your article been formatted in accordance with the JAMSTE Journal template?

Formatting Control

  • Title: Does the article title reflect the content in a short, concise, and accurate way?

  • Metadata: Are author names and institution information stated correctly and completely?

  • Abstract: Does the abstract clearly express the purpose, method, and results of the article?

  • Keywords: Do the keywords accurately represent the content of the article?

  • Structure: Does the article text include Introduction, Method, Findings, Discussion, and Conclusion sections?

  • Visuals: Are tables and figures properly numbered and referenced within the text?

  • Citations: Are the references organized in accordance with JAMSTE’s citation style (APA)?

Content Control

  • Introduction: Does this section clearly reveal the purpose and importance of the research?

  • Methodology: Does the method section explain in detail how the research was conducted (design, participants, data tools)?

  • Results: Does the findings section present the results in a clear and understandable way?

  • Discussion: Does the discussion section relate and interpret the findings with the existing STEM literature?

  • Conclusion: Does it summarize main findings and offer suggestions for future research?

  • Scientific Rigor: Does the article use scientific language and maintain a logical flow?

Submission Control

  • File Format: Is the article file in the format accepted by JAMSTE (.doc, .docx)?

  • Author Info: Is the contact information of all authors entered correctly in the system?

  • Copyright: Has the Copyright Transfer Form been signed by all authors?

  • Supplementary Files: Have additional files (ethics committee approval, tables, figures, etc.) been uploaded correctly?

  • Final Step: Have all steps in the online submission process been completed?
